Bear Creek is located at the base of the Santa Rosa Plateau in between Lake Elsinore and Temecula, California.

Bear Creek Golf Club has already taken its place in golfing folklore as the site of the first nationally televised Skins Game between legendary golfers Nicklaus, Palmer, Watson and Zoeller, which took place in 1985. The 18-hole course was designed by Jack Nicklaus.
