About Canyon Hills, California

Canyon Hills has more than 900 acres of natural open space and recreational areas. Plus, a 28-acre community park serves Canyon Hills and other nearby areas. What’s more, each of the three villages will have its own recreation center.

You can go for a hike along one of the area’s scenic community trails, which wind their way through the native landscape. Or head over to the recreation center and swim some laps in the pool, pick up a game of hoops or have a picnic under a shade tree.

There are so many things to do at Canyon Hills. And with 268-or-so sunny days a year, you surely have plenty of ways to enjoy them.

The feeling at Canyon Hills is remote, but the location certainly isn’t. In fact, there’s all kinds of recreation just within reach. You’re minutes from minor league baseball, golf, horseback riding, hang-gliding and fishing in Lake Elsinore. Not to mention some of the most legendary waterskiing and windsurfing in Southern California.

Beyond the Elsinore Valley, the ocean is about an hour, while the nearby mountains and wilderness areas offer hiking, camping and snow skiing. In other words, snow skiing at Big Bear one weekend, surfing at Trestles the next.
